吐温 80，又名聚山梨醇酯80，常温下为淡黄色至琥珀色油状液体。略带苦味，溶于水、乙醇、醋酸乙酯及甲苯，不溶于矿物油及植物油。具有乳化、润湿、起泡等性能，属 O/W 型乳化剂，HLB 值 15.0。
